The Scholarship program is by application and recommendation from primary schools and includes support in Yr 7 with uniform, fees and equipment and the opportunity to participate in the College Enrichment program. Applications for 2018 Scholarships will be in primary schools early term 2.
Scholarship and Enrichment students from Yr7 & 8 in 2017 with be part of a project based learning program focussed on sustainability and the environment that complements and extends learning experiences in their regular lessons. This year, 32 students will be involved in the Go Make A Difference (GoMAD) challenge through local Environmental Education Centres. Check out the program details on their webpage.
2017 also sees the extension of the Enrichment program to Yr 9 & 10 students who will engage in a film study of the classic novel "Lord of the flies" and the impact of social media on society's attitudes.
Parents and community members will have an opportunity to celebrate student learning during project presentations in term 4.
